Swedish/Issaquah Environment of Care
To create a truly healing environment, Swedish/Issaquah will feature many unique aspects such as an expansive art collection, an herb garden, water features, and a garden with a meditation area. In addition, reducing the impact on the environment, especially in relation to energy use, has been a priority throughout the design phase of the new facility. Environmentally-friendly components such as an expanded use of daylight, a green roof and energy efficient equipment will also add to the overall healing environment.
Donations will allow for the introduction of new items to the campus such as a children’s playground, expanded art collection and additional environmentally-friendly measures. Your support will significantly impact the patients, caregivers and community utilizing this new facility, while also reducing the impact it has on the environment.
